from design to delivery
we take great pride in everything that we do.
starting with the first call or email
-
We start by asking what you're interested in having built and where it will live. Whether you have a clear vision or prefer to explore ideas together, we listen first and work toward a piece that reflects your vision.
The Design Consultation — We schedule a time to meet you in the space the piece is intended for.
-
Before preparing an estimate, we look to establish a strong understanding of the materials, proportion, and style while meeting you in person and experiencing the space the piece is intended for.
This gives us a clear understanding of your vision, and as the conversation unfolds, the best questions — and often the best answers — naturally begin to emerge.
-
Given the details we've discussed, we return to the office and begin developing a visual presentation of the piece.
Depending on the project, this may take the form of a detailed drawing, a 3D rendering, or both — reflecting the design, material selection, proportion, and overall style of the work.
-
After you've reviewed the initial design, we prepare an estimate for the work followed by our standard proposal agreement should you decide to move forward.
For most projects, a 50% deposit is required to begin, with the remaining balance due upon completion or delivery.
Reference images can go a long way in helping to move ideas forward. They allow us to see what resonates with you.
We design a piece that carries your vision — balancing proportion, form, comfort, function, and aesthetics with an uncompromising commitment to quality.
what happens next?
Your deposit officially places your project on our Shop Schedule and marks the beginning of the Design Phase.
Depending on the project, the final design may be reached during the estimating process or continue to evolve in a more comprehensive Design Phase where further decisions are made. Adjustments in proportion, joinery details, visual elements and more, all bringing the piece together to its final shape.
Design:
our commitment to finalizing details that live with the piece forever
Aesthetics - Design with Purpose
The walnut apron serves two purposes: it anchors the maple top visually while providing the structural depth that makes the extended overhang possible.
Each custom design and build comes with the opportunity to bring you a design no one else has. A singular detail or an array of elements that all work together — we make sure each piece is unique to you.
Not each piece is fully Bespoke, though for every project we do, regardless of scope, we give our clients something that reflects their piece is truly custom made for them.
Structural - engineered as one
The base was designed and built to work as a single system - legs, stretchers and aprons working together so no single joint carries the load alone.
Finished material samples such as White Oak, Walnut & other species of your interest are delivered so you can see how it looks around your space.
Light enough to carry with one hand, yet large enough to evaluate alongside existing furniture, flooring, cabinetry, and other materials.

geting set to build
-
Our CAD drawings allow you to see the finalized design at scale through a series of detailed drawings that communicate the build before construction begins.
This final step in the Design Phase is an opportunity to review every detail and make any final adjustments before the project moves into production.
-
From material sourcing and selection to acclimation, milling, and shaping, our process requires patience —rewarded by wood that responds in kind when asked to take on a new form.
-
Applying the finish is one of the most rewarding stages of the process, as the color, depth, and character of the grain come to life.
Each finish is given the time it needs to fully cure before delivery—typically 14–30 days, depending on the finish selected.
It is when we are confident the piece needs no further work that we schedule a delivery window or date.
-
We deliver the piece to your home or business, where it is installed or placed and ready for immediate use. Before we leave, we provide simple care and maintenance recommendations and review the warranty included with your piece.

service:
everything that we do to bring custom made furniture to you
-
Complimentary in-home consultations are available for homeowners, businesses, and interior designers. Meeting in the space allows us to understand not only the room itself, but the people who will live or work with the piece every day.
Observing the space, discussing your vision, asking questions, and listening carefully create a conversation that brings another layer of understanding to the project. It is in these conversations that the most meaningful decisions are made, shaping a piece that feels naturally connected to its surroundings.
-
Your visual presentation includes up to three revisions of the initial design before any commitment is required.
