Frequently Asked Questions

Warranty

The following warranty applies to furniture purchased directly from RSF Table Co unless otherwise stated in writing.

Classic

All Classic furniture is covered by a 3-Year Limited Warranty from the date of delivery against defects in materials and workmanship under its intended use.

Custom & Bespoke

All Custom and Bespoke furniture is covered by a 5-Year Limited Warranty from the date of delivery against defects in materials and workmanship under their intended use.

What's Covered

This warranty covers defects resulting from:

  • Defects in workmanship
  • Structural joinery failure
  • Material defects not apparent at the time of construction
  • Failure of structural components under normal intended use

Should a warrantable defect occur during the applicable warranty period, RSF Table Co will determine the appropriate remedy, including repair, replacement of the affected component, or replacement of the furniture where appropriate.

Intended Use

Every project is designed for a specific environment and level of use. Furniture intended for residential settings is warranted under normal residential conditions. Furniture designed for commercial, hospitality, retail, office, or other public environments is warranted for the intended application established during the design process and documented as part of the project.

Natural Characteristics

Solid wood is a natural material and will continue to respond to changes in temperature, humidity, and seasonal conditions throughout its life. These characteristics are expected and are not considered defects.

  • Seasonal expansion and contraction
  • Minor movement of solid wood
  • Natural variation in grain, figure, texture, and color
  • Small surface checks that do not affect structural integrity
What's Not Covered

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from:

  • Abuse, misuse, or neglect
  • Accidents or impact damage
  • Improper storage, handling, transportation, or installation by others
  • Standing water or prolonged moisture exposure
  • Excessive heat, direct flame, or environmental conditions beyond the furniture's intended application
  • Unauthorized repairs, alterations, or refinishing
  • Damage resulting from improper care or maintenance
  • Normal wear associated with everyday use
Warranty Transfer

This warranty applies to the original purchaser and the original installation location. Should ownership of the furniture transfer, or should the piece be relocated, RSF Table Co may, at its discretion, extend continued warranty coverage following inspection or review of the furniture's condition.

Service Beyond the Warranty

A warranty defines the period during which defects in materials and workmanship are covered. It does not define the service life of the furniture.

Should your furniture ever require repair, refinishing, restoration, modification, relocation, or professional guidance, we encourage you to contact us first. In many cases, quality furniture can be repaired, renewed, or adapted, extending its service life well beyond the original warranty period.

Whenever practical, our preference is to preserve the furniture rather than replace it. Quality furniture is intended to serve for decades, and we remain available to support that objective long after the warranty has expired.

Our Process

What is the process?

Our process begins with:

  • The initial design meeting to help us understand what you want to have.

  • A presentation of drawings and renderings to reflect the design choices and represent the final product.

  • Our formal contract is written in which a 50% deposit is required for all builds.

  • The design choices are finalized and CAD drawings are presented for final approval

  • The build & finish phase.

  • Our full service delivery and installation.

How long does this take?

8 - 16 weeks from initial design phase to delivery.

This time frame largely depends on how much depth the project has, time spent on decisions and design as well as our current shop schedule.

Tell me more..
  • The design phase typically includes an on site consultation where we view the space the piece is intended for. This gives us the ability to contextualize and build in the best proportion and style.

  • Our initial presentation of a drawing and or rendering of the design includes up to 3 revisions prior to any commitment from you.

  • A deposit officially places your build on our shop schedule.

  • We keep you updated on progress during our build and finish phase. Only after the finish has been applied and is curing do we schedule a delivery date.
